Say hello to the new girl in town!

Cast your mind back to early last month and you may remember Claire Clements popping into the studio to talk about how she helps clients achieve Blissful Balance in their lives.

Or even further back to the beginning of June, when she made her first appearance on the show to talk about the  power of Positive Pants

Guests on Girls Around Town invariably say how much they enjoy spending their Sunday mornings with June Rachel and Rosalyn but Claire went one step further and, to everyone’s delight, offered to get involved on a regular basis.

So meet the new girl in town – from next month, she’s joining the team as a regular guest presenter!

Claire will be making her debut in November, sharing some of her own thoughts on the topics of the day and giving June a helping hand when they talk to guest Amanda Stone about Christmas-themed events and workshops at Hanwell Estates.

Dates are already in the diary for her to be back in December and January and hopefully they’ll be just the first of many.

But for now, make sure you tune in to 107.8FM or listen online between 10am and 12 noon on Sunday 10 November to hear her make that debut.

And, in the meantime, find out more about Claire here

Balancing act

Three months ago, Claire Clements joined the Girls Around Town with details of the Positively Empowering Kids Festival, a brand new event which took place at Nottingham Racecourse at the end of June.

This weekend she’ll be back in the studio to talk about some of the highlights of the day and remind listeners of the other ways she helps youngsters build their confidence and self-esteem by encouraging them to put on their Positive Pants.

But it’s not just about kids this time, because Louise Hallam of Still Calm will be with her and the main focus of their chat with June will be on the grown ups…

With several strings to her bow, Claire knows all about the importance of balance and she’ll be describing how, using visualisation techniques, meditation and creativity, she can help you, your staff and your business become the best they can.

Techniques that, earlier this week, she shared with members of the Nottinghamshire WiRE networking group here in Newark, giving them an insight into what Blissful Balance means to her and to those who take part in the wellbeing and empowerment activities she organises.

Claire and Louise will have news too of another upcoming event, when they’ll be joining forces with Donna Smith and Amy Huskisson to present Wellbeing in Nottingham at Jury’s Inn on Monday 30 September.

Tune in to 107.8FM or listen online between 10am and 12 noon on Sunday to find out what’s in store for this one, how Claire and Louise achieve their own blissful balance and how, with their help, you could achieve yours too!

Put on your positive pants!

Last week, it was all about bras – this week, the Girls Around Town turn their attention to pants…

Claire Clements, the founder of both Positive Pants and Blissful Balance, joins June and Rosalyn in the studio on Sunday to talk about the different ways in which she helps kids build their confidence and understand the importance of gratitude and positivity.

And bless her, she’s even promised to bring a bag of bras to add to the Bring Out Your Bras! collection Janice Holmes will be taking to Gambia later in the year…

Top of Claire’s list of events at the moment is an inspiring day packed with lots of free fun activities, excitement and knowledge guaranteed to leave children who take part feeling empowered about their future.

Organised in conjunction with Jackie Wilson and Susan Brookes, the first ever Positively Empowered Kids Festival takes place at Nottingham Racecourse from 10am till 4pm on Sunday 30 June.

Ticket prices range from £6.50 to £30 and can be booked online here, where you’ll also find details of what’s in store for visitors – everything from yoga, circus skills and wellbeing crafts to making healthy food, family massage and tai chi to name just a few!

“Our aim is for parents and children alike to leave the festival bursting with ideas and equipped with all the tools and techniques that will help the kids to create true success on their own terms,” says Claire.

Tune in or listen online between 10am and 12 noon when she’ll be talking about the festival in more detail.

And about how putting on a pair of the Positive Pants she sells can give your kids (and you!) an extra boost to get you all through the day…
