How well organised are you?

Is your house or office out of control? Do you have drawers or cupboards you dread opening? Or wish your paperwork was neatly filed and easily accessible?

If you’ve been accumulating clutter over the years and don’t know where to start when it comes to getting things organised, help is at hand from next week’s guest…

Gail Scattergood – aka The Space Angel – joins the Girls Around Town on the show to explain how she creates order out of chaos in her clients’ homes and work places.

Find out how employing a professional organiser can help you develop an effective working environment or give you the peace of mind that comes from living in a comfortable home that suits your lifestyle.

As one of her clients, Nadine Cooper will be in the studio too, explaining what prompted her own decision to involve Gail in a garage makeover earlier this year. How did it go? What did she learn from the process? And crucially, it is still spick and span or is the dreaded clutter beginning to creep back in again?

Tune in or listen online between 10am and 12 noon on Sunday for the answers to these questions and more – and there’ll be information from Nadine too about the new Tuneless Choir launching in Newark later this month.

Solving the people puzzle

Ever wondered why you connect immediately with some people and not with others? Why some groups or teams fall apart when you add just one new member?

If you want to learn how to read people in minutes rather than months, whether at work or in your personal life, tune in to this week’s show to hear what Deborah Wylie has to say about solving the people puzzle…

A licensed DISC trainer, coach and NLP practitioner, Deborah describes her business as ‘helping people work together better so they can enjoy delivering their vision’.

“We’re all a blend of personality styles, have different motivators and fears – we all operate differently at home, at work and under stress,”  she says. And on Sunday she’ll be explaining how to understand those differences and use them to develop better relationships quickly.

Join Deborah, June and Sue on air or listen online between 10am and 12 noon to find out how to get into the head of other personality types, what makes them tick and how to use the science behind personality to communicate more effectively and get your message across.

It’s one of the biggest days of your life and finding the right dress for the occasion is almost certainly right up there at the top of your to-do list…

So how do you find one that’s a perfect fit, not just for your body shape but for your own style and personality?

Someone who has the answer is Anne Bird of Daisy Dresses, who joins the Girls Around Town as their latest Fabulous After 40 guest.

Following a long career in the public sector, Anne found her fabulous when she opened the Daisy Dresses studio and workshop in Winkburn last month. Specialising in designing and making bespoke wedding gowns, she works closely with each bride at every stage of the process, to create unique dresses designed to fit, flatter and help promote body confidence on the big day.

Tune in or listen online between 10am and 12 noon next Sunday, when June and Tina find out more about what inspired Anne to take her life in a totally new direction.

And how, in a world where frou frou often reigns supreme, she’s on a mission to offer brides something a little different and help them find their own fabulous!
