Showcasing the work of local artists

muskham art group croppedWith 179 entries featuring the work of over 20 local artists, the Muskham Art Group Exhibition this weekend is a must for anyone who shares its members’ love of art.

Watercolours, pastels, oils and acrylics will all be on show, many of them for sale, alongside scarves, brooches and other crafts also made by members of the group.

The exhibition takes place at South Muskham and Little Carlton Village Hall on Main Street, South Muskham, from 10am to 4pm on Saturday 11 and Sunday 12 October.

Admission and parking are both free – and there’s an added incentive to pop along for a browse among the exhibits, in the form of delicious homemade refreshments on sale throughout the weekend!

Launched in February 2001, Muskham Art Group meets every second and fourth Tuesday of the month from 9:45am to 12:15pm for demonstrations, talks and, of course, to paint. The artistic abilities of its members range from the very beginner to the semi-professional and new members are always welcome.
