Something else she mentioned during her phone call to June was The Big Give Christmas Challenge, an annual fundraiser which this year runs from midday on Tuesday 1 December to midday on Tuesday 8 December.

Make a donation between these two dates and and whatever you give will be doubled – what a great way to help a local charity, don’t you think?

The team at REACH is hoping to raise £20,000 during the seven day appeal, which will then be doubled to £40,000 and go towards its My Place Online project, providing online learning and social activities to people with learning disabilities and their family carers in Nottinghamshire.

Your donation, however small, will help them reach that goal and get them on the way to supplying this valuable support to their clients.
