Newark’s biggest free event will be bringing the town alive with music on Sunday 22 June – it’s Carnival time again and this year’s theme looks set to attract more groups and spectators than ever to the party.

The call has gone out for participants to bring Bhangra to Bridge Street, pop to Portland Street and Latino to Lombard Street – whatever your musical style, the organisers want you to beat the drum and get ready to dance, sing and fill the air with the sound of music!
