Congratulations to Sarah Robinson and the rest of the team from the Barnby Road Friends Association, whose Shopping Evening on Friday raised an amazing £730 in just a couple of hours!

From paper flowers to puzzles, Father’s Day gifts to fizz, cards to cosmetics, there was no shortage of goodies to choose from. Not to mention the chocolates and cupcakes on sale too – because let’s face it, what shopping trip would be complete without a tasty treat or two?

The Friends Associations organises events on a regular basis – the next one will be the ever-popular uniform sale – and the money raised last week will be put to good use helping to subsidise upcoming school trips and a summer holiday play scheme, as well as buying book supplies throughout the year.
