Fancy a shopping experience with a difference next month? Then head over to Grantham and step back in time for Bea’s Vintage Extravaganza…
With more than 40 stalls, selling everything from clothing, kitchenalia and jewellery to handmade gifts, accessories and shabby chic homeware, it’s all about vintage at Grantham College on Saturday 3 October.
Admission is just 50p (kids go free!) and doors open at 10am. Then it’s non-stop fun till 4pm, with plenty of vintage-inspired live entertainment, a pop up beauty parlour if you fancy being transformed into a 40s or 50s film star, complete with Victory Roll hairdo, make up and false lashes, and lots of tasty treats to enjoy from Liberty Rose’s Tea Room & Fancy Goods Shop.
You can even enter your pooch into the vintage-inspired Dog Show, with prizes for the winners of the Miss World, Mr Universe and Best Veteran categories.
Bring along your classic car, vintage caravan or VW camper to add to the atmosphere – and bring the children too, there’ll be traditional fairground and tractor rides to keep them entertained.
It all takes place in the college refectory and on the adjoining field on Stonebridge Road – for more details call 07888 679118 or check out the Bea’s Boutique Facebook page.
